Honey Facial Mask
Place a warm cloth on face to open the pores. Smear on enough honey to cover the entire face, and leave on for 15-30 minutes. Rinse of with warm water. Use once a week.
Anti-Dandruff treatment
¼ cup of vinegar 1 cup of water After conditioning hair, use the mix as your final wash. For smooth, soft and dandruff free hair.
Avocado Hair Conditioner
1 avocado 3 tablespoons of coconut milk
Combine mashed avocado and coconut milk, apply to hair and comb it through, leave it sit for 10-15 minutes then rinse as normal
Apple Face Mask
1 apple 1 tsp of lemon juice 1 tsp of dried herbs
Boil the apple until it can be mashed, then mash and strain keeping just the liquid. Add them lemon juice and dried herbs and mix well. Apply to the face as a mask and leave on for 5-10 minutes then rinse off and moisturize as normal
Lip Balm
3 tsp of olive oil 3 tsp of beeswax 3 tsp of sweet almond oil 1 tsp of honey 5 drops of your preferred essential oil ( orange, peppermint, lime etc)
Melt the beeswax along with the olive and almond oil and remove from heat, then add the honey and essential oil and food dye for coloring. Stir well and pour into a small container and leave until set.
Cleanser for acne-prone skin
¼ cup of witch hazel 1 tablespoon of aloe vera gel 10 drops of tea tree oil
Combine all ingredients together and apply to face using a cotton ball.
Almond and Honey Facial Scrub
2 tsp of milk 2 tbsp of almonds ½ a teaspoon of flour ½ a teaspoon of honey
Use a blender to grind almonds, then add the milk, flour and honey mixing together until a think paste is formed. Rub onto skin then rinse.
Lemon Toner
½ cup of lemon juice 1 cup of water ½ cup of witch hazel
Combine all ingredients, shake well and apply to skin
Honey Treatment for Split Ends
2 tbsp of olive oil 1 tsp of honey 1 egg yolk
Combine olive oil and egg yolk together in a bowl, beat the egg yolk into the mixture. Massage onto hair in small sections, wrap hair with cling wrap or shower cap for 30 minutes then rinse and style as normal.
Egg Shampoo
1 egg 1 tsp of olive oil 1 tsp of lemon juice 1 tbsp of castile soap ½ cup of herbal tea 2 drops of essential oil of your choice
combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Shampoo hair as normal using the mixture
Banana Hand and Foot cream
Banana honey lemon juice 1 tbsp of margarine
Combine all ingredients together, and smear or hands and feet before going to bed ( wear gloves and socks to bed) then rinse off in morning
Easy fingernail Treatment
1 Egg yolk
Beat egg yolk in a bowl and soak fingernails for 5-10 minutes and rinse.
Honey Milk Cleanser
½ cup of honey ½ cup of buttermilk 3 tsp of rosewater
Place all ingredients into an airtight container and shake well, apply to face and rinse.
Yogurt Facial Cleanser
½ cup of natural plain yogurt 2 tsp of liquid honey ½ tsp of wheat germ oil 1 apple finely peeled and sliced 1 tsp of lemon juice 1 ½ tbsp of instant mashed potato 5 drops of essential oil of your choice
combine all ingredients in large mixing bowl and stir, pour into container and refrigerate. Use as you would your usual cleanser
